ADHD Coaching
As someone with lifelong ADHD, I deeply understand the struggle of living and working in a world that was not built for our brains. I connect with my clients based not only on a deep knowledge of the latest ADHD research, but also on what I’ve felt and experienced. This perspective is crucial for my clients because living with an invisible disability can be incredibly alienating.
The focus of ADHD coaching is twofold.
First, I work with my clients to build a holistic understanding of the way our brains function. Based on that, we create the support strategies and scaffolding needed to be effective given the specific challenges and unique potential of our brains. This ADHD-friendly architecture allows my clients to be more effective both at work and at home. Problems with time management and effectively handling work and school tasks are absolutely solvable. We just have to learn to how to approach them in a way that works for our brains.
Second, we unwind the often painful self-concept built by a life of frustration. Living with unsupported ADHD can be incredibly painful. In understanding and disentangling your condition from who you are, you can begin to more deeply love and accept yourself while finally having the tools to reach your full potential.
